hope center ministries

We have lots of opportunities for individuals and families to get involved at the Hope Center! Please look below for a description of weekly and one-time events.

Clubs

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we have changed our programming. Students must register to participate. We have combined our clubs and tutoring times. We have a morning elementary group from 9:30-10:45 a.m., an afternoon elementary group from 12:00-1:30 p.m., and a Middle/High School Group from 2:30-4:00 p.m. The groups meet every Monday-Thursday when school is in session.

Vacation bible school

We've been having VBS in the Fair Oaks neighborhood every summer since 2010. It's a wild, fun time and is a highlight of the summer! We'd love to have you involved!

While you are here, check out our VBS page. Summer 2020 we were entirely online and you can still check out our VBS videos!

christmas store

We've had a Christmas Store for a number of years at Christmastime. We collect donations of new or gently used toys/gifts and set up a store on a Saturday in December where prices are 75-80% off retail price. Parents with a lower-income are able to sign up for a shopping slot and are able to pick out and purchase their own gifts for their children.

faith & finances

The Hope Center partners with Love INC to offer Faith and Finances. For more information please call (217) 442-5683.

computer lab

We have a mobile computer lab that kids use during after school tutoring and that's available for adults to use for schoolwork, job applications, etc. We hope to offer adult computer classes in the future!
